The Chivas Venture – the platform from leading blended Scotch whisky, Chivas, that supports the world’s hottest social entrepreneurs returns to South Africa with a dynamic new format that will launch with a collaboration with streetwear legend and Grade Africa founder, Zaid Osman.
The new platform will see Zaid and Chivas provide up-and-coming fashion designers with the tools and support needed to produce a nine-piece capsule collection that will be sold via ‘Drops’ with exclusive retail partners.
Zaid Osman, Founder and CEO of Sneaker exchange and Grade Africa in partnership with Chivas Regal will give a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to 4 apprentices.
The apprentices will learn from Zaid on how to grow from being freelancing creatives to becoming sustainable fashion businesses. This initiative will contribute to growing the local fashion and textile industry, with proceeds going back into the Grade Africa foundation to fund future initiatives.
