With many radio stations refreshing their on-air line-ups, Metro FM has also announced a new schedule for 2021/2022.
Lerato Kganyago will take on The Midday Link Up (12midday to 3pm) alongside Melaine Bala and Taz Singh. The midday slot was previously held down by Thomas Msengana and Pearl Modiadie Lunch with Thomas & Pearl.
Sabelo ‘DJ Sabby’ Mtshali, who after 10 Years at YFM will be joining Metro FM to host the Top40 Chart Show between 09:00 – 13:00 on Saturdays.
In addition, a new dance show ‘The Penthouse Sessions’ on Saturdays from 16:00 until 19:00 will be hosted by Sikhululo ‘Lulo Café’ Maliwa and Lamiez Holworthy.
Oscar ‘Oskido’ Mdlongwa will be taking over the 19:00 – 20:00 time channel to start a newly curated talent development show.
The Bridge will be hosted by Dineo Ranaka alongside Somizi Mhlongo and Kgopedi Lilokoe.
The rest of the shows remain unchanged.
