The Fergusons’ drama series ‘Kings of Joburg’ returning for Season 2

The Fergusons’ drama series ‘Kings of Joburg’ is returning for a second season on Netflix. The ferguson_films made the announcement on social media stating, “#KingsOfJoburg season 2 loading. ”

The first season premiered on Netflix last year, with 6 episodes.  The drama series delves into legacy building, fragmented family structures, treacherous brotherhoods, and the effects of crime and African masculinities on families and society at large.

Heavy cast includes Shona Ferguson as Simon “Vader” Masire, Zolisa Xaluva portrays the role of Mogomotsi “Mo” Masire (Simon’s young brother),  TK Sebothoma as the spoilt and privileged Tlotlo Masire, and Buhle Samuels as the gorgeous and supportive wife to Simon.

No word as to when the ‘Kings of Joburg’ season 2 will hit Netflix but stay tuned for the release date.
