The movie is based upon Matthew Logelin’s 2011 memoir Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love. It follows Logelin as he struggles with learning to be a solo parent after his wife passes away.
Kevin Hart stars in a heartwarming, funny and emotional true story about a widower taking on one of the toughest jobs in the world: fatherhood. Alfre Woodard, Lil Rel Howery, DeWanda Wise, Anthony Carrigan, and Paul Reiser round out this all-star cast.
Fatherhood is written and directed by Paul Weitz from a screenplay he co-wrote with Dana Stevens. Fatherhood is produced by Hart, Marty Bowen, David Beaubaire, and Peter Kiernan.
