The streaming giant — Netflix has introduced its cheaper mobile subscription plan priced at R49 per month.
The plan sits alongside the other three Netflix plans: Basic – R99, Standard – R139, and Premium -R169.
Can you access the Netflix Mobile plan on TV? No! The new Mobile plan strictly supports smartphones and tablets and allows users to stream at a resolution of up to 480p. Users can still have up to five different profiles on the mobile plan. However, only one stream is allowed on a single device at a time.
Features include—Smart Downloads, adaptive UI, five profiles, profile PINs, maturity settings—just like on existing plans.
The new Mobile plan is available across the sub-Saharan Africa region and can be chosen only when you sign up for Netflix – netflix.com/signup/planform.
