A Kentucky dad is accused of one of the biggest bourbon burglaries in history. Using dynamic reenactments, original interviews, and a fast-paced style that fits perfectly into the cinematic canon alongside films like Ocean’s Eleven and Catch Me If You Can, directors Derek Doneen (The Price of Free), Martin Desmond Roe (Two Distant Strangers), and Nick Frew (We Are the Champions) each take the helm of a single heist, told over two episodes.
Uthando Lodumo

Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha‘s reality show “Uthando Lodumo” follows the Durban superstars in the build-up to their traditional wedding and give us a glimpse into their controversial relationship.
Their relationship hasn’t always been a fairytale, with an incident of gender-based violence trending on social media in 2019. The trailer suggests Mampintsha is still dealing with the aftermath of that controversy, as his initial letter to Babes’ family is rejected; we see him apologising to Babes’ parents; and we see Babes worrying about whether her family will turn Mampintsha’s family away at the gate.
Naomi Osaka

Netflix will bring a new docuseries about the international tennis star Naomi Osaka.
The three-part documentary series follows Naomi Osaka as she explores her cultural roots and navigates her multifaceted identity as a tennis champ and rising leader.
It also follows Osaka during a historic two years in which she works on her game, defending her grand slam titles — while wearing masks in defense of Black lives — mourning the unexpected loss of mentor Kobe Bryant, or finding her independence.
Osaka will also take viewers on a ride as she further explores her Haitian roots as well as her connection to Japan, the country for which she plays.
Nqobile

Mzansi Magic has a new drama series ‘Nqobile’ which stars Nqobile Khumalo, Kagiso Modupe and Magic Hlatshwayo.
The new 13-part Mzansi Magic drama series Nqobile depicts a woman’s quest to rise above marital abuse and begin to live fearlessly.
Nqobile is the ill-treated makoti of the Nkosi family dynasty who manages to outsmart her entitled, abusive husband and take over his empire. She transforms it into a women-led e-hailing service, and with newfound grit, indirectly declares war against her spouse.
Nqobile Khumalo stars as Nqobile while Kagiso Modupe plays the role of her husband Simo. Mzansi Magic viewers are in for a treat as the series also features much-loved luminary actors such as Magic Hlatshwayo (as George), Nomsa Nene (as Sarah), Lele Ledwaba (as Mampoi), Lilian Dube (as Black Widow), Abdul Khoza (as Gugu), Nhlanhla Mdlalose (as Sbambura) and Ayanda Bandla (as Ntombi).
Young Rock

Even the world’s biggest star started out small. Young Rock is a sitcom based on the life of Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock), going back to his roots as a 10-year-old in Hawaii, his high school years in Pennsylvania, and his University years in Miami, all within the (as yet) fictional framework of the actor and pro wrestler running as a candidate in the 2032 US Presidential Election.
Sky Rojo S2

Sky Rojo is a Spanish action crime drama television series, created by Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato. The series traces three prostitutes who flee from their pimp. According to the creators, the series shows “the impunity, ambiguity and brutal reality of prostitution, and the psychological portraits of those on both sides of the scale”.
Desperate for freedom but tempted by vengeance, Coral, Wendy and Gina continue to face off against their pursuers, who begin to turn on each other.
Skemerdans

Cape Flats neo-noir murder mystery Skemerdans is a whodunnit set at the Oasis jazz club, the centre of a power struggle between two brothers, a scorned widow and an organised crime syndicate. An organic, hyper-local mix of both Afrikaans and English, the half-hour series was filmed along Voortrekker Road and at Club Galaxy, Cape Town’s oldest club, which opened in Rylands in 1978. Galaxy is doubling as both The Oasis and the Adams brothers’ strip club, The Velvet Room.
Skemerdans revolves around the Fortune family, whose eldest son Glenn (Kevin Smith) owns The Oasis with his wife, Shireen (Ilse Klink). Other members of the Fortune family are played by Brendon Daniels, Sara se Geheim, Vinette Ebrahim, Carmen Maarman, rising star Trudy van Rooy and Ceagan Arendse who tragically passed away in February 2021.
