South Africa is mourning the tragic loss of three of some of the country’s youngest and most impactful amapiano artists, Killer Kau, Mpura, and DJ, Khanya ‘The Voice’ Hadebe.
Mpura, Killer Kau, and Khanya “The Voice” Hadebe died in a fatal car accident, along with the other two members Thando Tot and TD Sage.
They were traveling to a gig in Rustenburg when the incident took place.

The homage ceremonies of Mpura, Killer Kau, The Voice, Thando Tot, and TD Sage will be taking place this week at several locations. Here’s a round up of the events we know of, so far:
MONGEZI THOMAS “MPURA” STUURMAN
Where: Chiawelo Extension 3, Fani Street, Soweto, Johannesburg
When: Thursday, 12th August 2021.
Time: 7pm
KHANYA “THE VOICE” HADEBE
Where: 70 Juta Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
When: Friday, 13th August 2021.
Time: 2pm until 4:30pm
SAKHILE “KILLER KAU” HLATSHWAYO
Where: 00257 Mbonambi St, Zondi, Soweto, Johannesburg
When: Wednesday, 11th August 2021.
Time: 6pm
MEMORIAL AND TRIBUTE CONCERT
Where: Junk park (713 Pretoria Main Rd, Wynberg, Johannesburg)
When: Friday, 13 August 2021
Time: 12midday to 3pm (Memorial) and 4pm to 8pm (Performance tributes)
Price: R100 charged at the gate after 3pm. All the gate proceeds will go to the 5 families.
