As a follow-up to the local release of Salehe Bembury’s “Water Be The Guide”, New Balance has now linked up with Chicago streetwear designer Joe Freshgoods to work the magic on the 990v3 model.
Dubbed “Outside Clothes,” the forthcoming New Balance collaboration is inspired by the west side of Chicago-native’s personal life growing up throughout the 1990s.
The 990v3 is not his first project with New Balance. Joe Freshgoods previously worked with the brand on the “No Emotions Are Emotions” project.
This latest offering of the New Balance 990v3 features a Blue mesh base with Brown suede overlays. Blue is also used on the signature “N” branding on the side, while pops of Green further liven up the shoe on the additional branding and select details on the top eyelets. Joe Freshgoods’ name is stamped at the rear completed with a midsole equipped with ABZORB technology.
