The 3-day Vic Falls Carnival is set to make a return in 2022 in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the festival.
DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Sha Sha, and Master KG are amongst the big names to headline the 2022 Vic Falls Carnival.
For the past nine years, the Vic Falls Carnival has always taken place over the New Year period. However, for the 2022 edition, the organizers have reformatted the event, and it will now take place from Friday, 29 April 2022 to Sunday, 1 May 2022.
Friday, 29 April 2022 – Grand opening
The 10th Edition Carnival will kick off celebrations with DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, who will open the three-day carnival with the best in live Afro beats and Amapiano tunes.
Saturday, 30 April 2022 – Electric Safari Experience
On the second night, ‘Jerusalema’ hitmaker Master KG and a host of other top artists and performers will take to the stage for the Electric Safari Experience.
Sunday, 1 May 2022 – Secret Picnic Bush Party
The carnival will end off with a Secret Picnic Bush Party. Revellers can expect laid-back vibes with various live acts on the day as well as delicious local cuisine and craft brew.
Limited early bird tickets, VIP, and VVIP tickets are on sale now at vicfallscarnival.com/tickets, while general tickets will go on sale from 2 November 2021 or when early bird tickets sell out.
