Martial arts action fans can look forward to a sequel movie to the short-lived series Wu Assassains.
Announced earlier last year, the standalone film Fistful of Vengeance will arrive on Netflix in February continuing the story from the ending of the first season.
Fistful of Vengeance sees the return of Kai Jin, Lu Xin Lee, Tommy Wah, and Zan Hui as the Wu Assassins team avenges the death of one of their own.
Along with Uwais and Tan, Lawrence Kao, and JuJu Chan Szeto also return for the movie while new cast additions include Pearl Thusi, Francesca Corney, Jason Tobin, and Rhatha Phongam to round it out.
The series debuted in 2019 on the streamer and many had been led to believe that the show was one and done but now with the upcoming movie ready to strike, it was also reported a while back that Netflix is still open to a possible second season and/or more films in the franchise.
The official synopsis: Fistful of Vengeance will find the Wu Assassins reuniting in Bangkok to avenge the death of one of their own. They soon discover, however, that their new adversary is an ancient threat with otherworldly powers.
