‘The Tinder Swindler’ is a stranger-than-fiction Netflix documentary about romance, fraud and revenge.
The doccie arrived on Netflix last week and has since become a topic on social media and the news.
The Tinder Swindler tells the story about conman Shimon Hayut who poses as Simon Leviev, a fake diamond mogul who conned and swindled millions from women he met on the dating app Tinder. Leviev defrauded scores of women he met on Tinder to fund his luxury lifestyle while also pursuing more women to defraud.
The doccie is by the same makers of Don’t F**K With Cats and The Imposter. Then we’ll hear how those wronged women helped bring about Leviev’s downfall.
