Netflix’s martial arts action ‘Fistful of Vengeance’ is our movie of the week!
This is a standalone and a sequel movie to the short-lived series Wu Assassains.
Fistful of Vengeance stars Iko Uwais (The Raid), Lewis Tan (Mortal Kombat), Lawrence Kao (Max Steel), and Pearl Thusi (Queen Sono) along with Francesca Corney, Jason Tobin, and Rhatha Phongam.
In the standalone film, super-powered assassin Kai and friends Lu Xin and Tommy track a killer from San Francisco’s Chinatown to Thailand to avenge the death of a loved one. But their hunt soon entangles them with old enemies, a mysterious billionaire and an ancient mystical force bent on taking over the world.
The series debuted in 2019 on the streamer and many had been led to believe that the show was one and done but now with the upcoming movie ready to strike, it was also reported a while back that Netflix is still open to a possible second season and/or more films in the franchise.
The movie is now streaming on Netflix.
