The stars, who, one by one revealed their series taglines on their Instagram accounts, include South African entertainment industry royalty, Khanyi Mbau, Tanzanian bongo flava mega artist, Diamond Platnumz, Nigerian singer 2Baba, and rapper Nadia Nakai, who calls out her seasoned hustle.
The cast also includes stellar African stars including renowned South African DJ, Naked DJ, Diamond Platnumz’s ex-wife, Zari the Boss Lady, who hails from Uganda and is a renowned businesswoman, musician and socialite, Nigerian model, presenter, and actress, Annie Macaulay–Idibia, South African actor and media personality, Andile Ncube and Nigerian stylist, Swanky Jerry.

Four years later…Finally fans will finally get to see the much-awaited third season of Donald Glover’s comedy-drama series Atlanta.
Atlanta tells the story of two cousins trying to find their way to the top of the local rap scene, all the while dealing with the many real and absurd troubles black folk face in the city.
The third season “follows Earn (Donald Glover), Paper Boi (Brian Tyree Henry), Darius (LaKeith Stanfield), and Van (Zazie Beetz) in the midst of a successful European tour, as the group navigates their new surroundings as outsiders and struggle to adjust to the newfound success they had aspired to,” reads the outlet’s synopsis.

The second season of the Shonda Rhimes-produced Regency-era bodice ripper will focus on eldest son Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey), who was previously reluctant to marry into high society as his family expects him to.
It was confirmed that Regé-Jean Page will not be returning for the upcoming season. Phoebe Dynevor will return as Daphne, who will now help her brother Lord Anthony Bridgerton in his pursuit of love.
The series became a big hit since its launch and was watched by 63 million households across its first 28 days.

A new adult animated series to look forward to is Human Resources — which serves as a spin-off to the hit coming-of-age comedy Big Mouth.
The spin-off pulls back the curtain on the daily lives of the creatures – Hormone Monsters, Depression Kitties, Shame Wizards and many more – that help humans journey through every aspect of life from puberty to parenthood to the twilight years. It quickly becomes clear that though the protagonists are creatures, they have a lot of humanity themselves.

F1 fans will get to see inside last year’s intense season when Netflix‘s Formula 1: Drive to Survive returns for Season 4 this month.
The last season saw Max Verstappen being crowned champion for the first time, after going head to head with rival Lewis Hamilton on the final lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Vikings: Valhalla S1

‘Vikings: Valhalla’ is a sequel to the History’s Vikings (2013) and is set one hundred years after the events of Vikings. The series arrived on Netflix on February 25 this year.
Vikings: Valhalla revolves around legendary explorer Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), his sister Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter).
“Set over a thousand years ago in the early 11th century, the series chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – the legendary explorer Leif Eriksson, his fiery and headstrong sister Freydis Eriksdotter, and the ambitious Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson,” reads the synopsis. “As tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, these three Vikings begin an epic journey that will take them across oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory.”
