Meta has slapped Kanye West with a 24-hour Instagram suspension following a racially inappropriate comment he made about Trevor Noah and for going after Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
A spokesperson for Meta told TMZ that Kanye’s ban comes after his posts fell under the umbrella of hate speech, harassment and bullying. He is unable to post, comment or send DMs for 24 hours period.
On Wednesday, Noah went on to share his views about the ongoing feud involving Kim Kardashian, Kanye West (Ye), and Pete Davidson. Noah discusses the harassment many women face when trying to leave a relationship. He also touches on Kanye’s mental issues, leaked texts with Pete, and more concerning that this could end badly.
Kanye who has clearly seen the video has since posted Trevor Noah on his IG with a racially inappropriate comment:
“All in together now… K**n baya my lord k**n baya k**n baya my lord k**n baya Oooo’ lord K–n baya,” he replaced Kumbaya with “koon” referring.
KOON BAYA MEANING
According to Urban Dictionary, Koon Baya means, “a word used to define a black individual who is anti-black and often acts against the black community.” The site also defines it as “the disparaging term used to refer to a black individual or any person of African descent.”
The initial Instagram post by Kanye has since been removed from his page.
