Drake‘s favorite show is back with a brand new season on Netflix.
The kings of Summerhouse Estate, Dushane and Sully, are back for ‘Top Boy’ Season 2 which premiered last week on the streamer. Note Top Boy Season 2 is actually Season 4, so when Drake took an interest in the show it led to Netflix reviving the show, with the original seasons being named Top Boy: Summerhouse.
The last season we saw the two solidifying their relationship, however, they come into conflict again after Sully murders their friend Dris for selling them out to their rival gang.
The ending of season one confirmed that both have fallen apart as Sully didn’t approve of Dushane’s ways of dealing with situations.
In the new season, the stakes are high and we get to see Dushane and Sully caught between betrayals, revenge, blackmail and bloodshed.
The storyline also follows the murder of Atticus “Ats” Ayittey, who planted drugs in Jamie’s house; the abusive household and psycho-maniac lover of Lauryn, who couldn’t come back to London because she snitched on Sully and lastly the redevelopment of the Summerhouse community in which Dushane is involved as has to deal with his mother who refuses to leave the building.
Ashley Walters, Kano, Micheal Ward and Little Simz reprise their roles as Dushane, Sully, Jamie and Shelley.
New faces will include a Secret Service star Josephine De La Baume, Howard Charles (Shadow and Bone), Erin Kellyman (The Green Knight), and rap and grime artist ‘NoLay’ (Natalie Athanasiou) and Adwoa Aboah.
The new season is now streaming on Netflix.
