Marvel has released the first teaser for the fourth installment of Thor dubbed ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ which is set to release in July.
Chris Hemsworth still reigns as Thor, and is joined by Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Pom Klementieff and Vin Diesel to name a few.
Returning director Taika Waititi is back to helm Thor: Love and Thunder, and the film is produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.
The film finds Thor (Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced, a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Portman), who to Thor’s surprise inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Find the new teaser above, in addition to a poster for the upcoming cosmic adventure below!
The action-packed movie will release in cinemas on July 8, 2022.
