The Three Stripes brand is gearing up to launch its new slides this June – officially dubbed ‘Adilette 22‘ slides.
However, their long-time collaborator, Kanye West, is not happy and has called out adidas over the Adilette 22′ slide design —alleging that they copied his famed YEEZY slide design.

“This shoe is a fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves,” per Kanye West Instagram post on Monday, 13 June 2022.
Kanye has further called out Adidas CEO Kasper Rørsted. “To Kasper I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more,” he continues. “To all sneaker culture To every ball player rapper or even if you work at the store This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll loose their contract or be called crazy.”
“These shoes represent the disrespect that people in power have to the talent,” he concluded. “This shoe is a fake Yeezy made by adidas themselves I’m not talking to DC about this either Kasper come talk to me Happy Monday.”

The Adilette 22 is slated to launch globally on June 23 in several colorways. The new slides feature layers of textural adifoam and a flat outsole. While the YEEZY slide is minimalistic with deep horizontal grooves outsole.
Do you agree with Kanye about the resemblance? or is it far-fetched?
adidas and the CEO Kasper Rørsted are yet to respond to Ye’s allegations.
