Here’s why you need to get your hands on the Instax Mini Evo:
We strongly recommend this camera to all of our readers who enjoy cool things, just like us.
Portable and Lightweight

The camera is rectangular shaped, nicely portable, slim, and lightweight, making it easy to carry around at all times, whether on a weekend spree or travel. In terms of sizing, the camera measures 87 x 122.9 x 36 mm and weighs 285g.
10 Lens Effects

More reasons to be creative when taking photos. Twisting the focus dial on the lens gives you full control of ten “lens effects” — Normal, Vignette, Soft Focus, Blur, Fisheye, Colour Shift, Light Leak, Mirror, Double Exposure, and Half-frame.
10 Film Effects / Filters

Additionally, you also have ten “film effects,” or rather, let’s say filters — Normal, Vivid, Pale, Canvas, Monochrome, Sepia, Yellow, Red, Blue, and Retro. These give you the option to set the mood of your photos. You can access the filters using the dedicated click dial on top of the camera.
Taking Selfies

Yes, you can take selfies with the Instax Mini Evo—with the help of a small mirror located in front of the camera. There’s also an AF assist lamp and a flash unit, which can be switched on or off from the menu.
The Shutter Button

The camera has two shutter buttons, depending on which one is easily reachable for you to use. The first shutter button is found on the front of the camera. The second one is located on the top of the camera, which is the most convenient one when taking portrait-format photos.
Additional storage

Yes, you read that right — a microSD card slot. The Mini Evo has internal built-in memory which allows you to store approximately 45 photos. However, with the MicroSD slot, you can expand the memory by inserting a memory card so that you don’t have to keep deleting photos.
Printing photos

Having used other instant cameras, it sucks when you have mistakenly shot an image and it automatically gets printed—now you have wasted a film sheet. But that doesn’t happen with the Instax Mini Evo. You have full control of what gets printed. You can take as many shots as you want and selectively decide to print them out later. If you aren’t happy with the shot you took, then you are able to retake it and get it printed.
Printing is easy — you just pull the retro-inspired ‘Print lever’ on top of the camera and the LCD will show that the photo is printing.
Printing photos from your smartphone

The Instax Mini Evo takes things to the next level with this option for printing photos from your smartphone. You simply have to download the Instax Mini Evo app (available for iOS and Android), then pair the camera with your phone. Even those iconic photos you shared on Instagram can be downloaded to your photo gallery and printed.
Charging the camera

This is a chargeable camera, and you can run up to 100 photo prints from just a single charge. To charge it to its full capacity can take up to three hours.
