Black Bird

Another hot series this month! Black Bird is an adaptation of the true-crime memoir In with the Devil: A Fallen Hero, a Serial Killer, and a Dangerous Bargain for Redemption by James Keene and Hillel Levin. The miniseries stars Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, Sepideh Moafi, and Greg Kinnear.
The story follows high school football hero and decorated policeman’s son Jimmy Keene (Taron Egerton) who is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security prison, he is given the choice of a lifetime, enter a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and befriend suspected serial killer Larry Hall (Paul Walter Hauser), or stay where he is and serve his full sentence with no possibility of parole. Keene quickly realizes his only way out is to elicit a confession and find out where the bodies of several young girls are buried before Hall’s appeal goes through.

Probably the hottest series this month! The action thriller stars Chris Pratt based on the novel of the same name by Jack Carr. The story follows Navy SEAL Commander James Reece (Pratt) who turns to vengeance as he investigates the mysterious forces behind the murder of his entire platoon. Free from the military’s command structure, Reece applies the lessons he’s learned from nearly two decades of warfare to hunt down the people responsible.
The Longest Night

The Longest Night is an upcoming Spanish thriller series set to be released on Netflix this July. The story centres around a psychiatric prison where a group of armed men aim to capture an incarcerated serial killer but instead, they are met with resistance from the prison director.

“Ms. Marvel” introduces Kamala Khan—a 16-year-old Pakistani-American growing up in Jersey City. A great student, an avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, she has a special affinity for superheroes, particularly Captain Marvel.
But Kamala struggles to fit in at home and at school—that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to.
Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel; the cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha. “Surface” is an eight-episode psychological thriller and it stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw who also executive produces, as Sophie, a woman who has suffered a traumatic head injury that has left her with extreme memory loss, believed to be a result of a suicide attempt.
As Sophie embarks on a quest to put the pieces of her life back together with the help of her husband and friends, she begins to question whether or not the truth she is told is in fact the truth she has lived.
