The controversial adidas Adilette 22 slides have finally hit the local retailers.
These come as a new design from the Three stripes brand, extending their cozy slides section. However, with that in mind, Kanye West has since called out adidas over this new Adilette 22 slide design —alleging that they copied his famed YEEZY slide design.
But that didn’t stop adidas from extending the release of these new slides, and now they are available locally.
Design-wise, The slide features a topographic-like ridged texture, giving the shoe a futuristic 3D-printed aesthetic. Minimal black text branding appears on the lateral midsoles that reads “THE BRAND WITH THE THREE STRIPES” placed next to an adidas Trefoil.
You can cop the adidas Adilette 22 Slides in “Desert Sand”, available through Shelflife (Joburg and Cape Town) and online. The retail price is set at the reasonable R 999,00.
