For our movie of the week we’ve picked Warner Bros. Pictures’ action-comedy anime “DC League of Super-Pets”.
Dwayne Johnson plays Krypto who is also Superman’s dog and Kevin Hart plays Ace who later becomes Batman’s dog.
In the movie Krypto, the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, sharing the same superpowers and fighting crime in Metropolis side by side. When Superman and the rest of the Justice League are taken hostage by the villainous guinea pig, Lulu – Krypto must convince Ace the hound, PB the potbellied pig, Merton the turtle and Chip the squirrel, all with their own newfound powers to help him rescue the superheroes.
Directed by Jared Stern, the movie also stars the voices of Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Diego Luna, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz.
The movie is now showing at local cinemas.
