Michael Jordan‘s 1998 NBA Finals Game Worn Jersey is set to go on auction this September through Sotheby’s.

The 1998 NBA Finals, of Michael Jordan’s “The Last Dance” season, was the most viewed of all NBA Finals contests.

Jordan played 45 minutes in Game 1—the most minutes on court of any of his 1998 NBA Finals games – and scored 33 points, sending the game into overtime.

Sotheby’s – The jersey is in excellent condition consistent with use.

Michael Jordan was wearing this iconic red-away jersey on his way to his 6th NBA Championship and 6th Finals MVP award.

This particular jersey was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated following the NBA Finals (a graded copy is offered with this jersey).

Sotheby’s – The jersey is in excellent condition consistent with use.

The jersey will go on auction on Tuesday, 06 September 2022 at Sotheby’s and it is expected to fetch between ($3M – $5M USD)—which is an estimation of (R48-million – R81-million in Rands).
