On September 8, Disney+ will celebrate ‘Disney Plus Day’ releasing a number of shows and movies.
Marvel‘s latest blockbuster ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ will also be part of the new content releasing on the day.
Fans who missed the chance to catch this movie in cinemas will be able to stream it on the platform.
Even though this release wasn’t crowd-pleasing as some of the best MCU releases, the movie managed to pass the $700 million mark at the global box office.
In this movie, Chris Hemsworth still reigns as Thor, and is joined by Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jaimie Alexander, Taika Waititi, Pom Klementieff and Vin Diesel to name a few.
The superhero movie finds Thor (Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced, and his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Thompson), Korg (Waititi), and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Portman), who to Thor’s surprise inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor.
Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Find the new teaser above, in addition to a poster for the upcoming cosmic adventure below!
Returning director Taika Waititi is back to helm Thor: Love and Thunder, and the film is produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.
