From 22 to 25 September, Joburg Expo Centre Nasrec will be the hub of all things pop culture.
Walk the halls filled with characters from your favourite films and series, have photo ops with A List celebrities, be part of the ultimate in gaming festival, with top tournaments to not only watch but compete in, meet the artists and writers behind the comic books you love, learn more about tabletop gaming, meet other Anime and Manga otakus, make new friends, and immerse yourself in the exciting and vibrant world of pop culture.
You can also shop collectibles, gaming equipment, original art, and more. Maybe you’ll even get the chance to settle the greatest debate of all: Marvel or DC?
This year the show is side-by-side with three exciting events. KidsCon, the only show made for kids by kids, is for superheroes big and small. StreamerCon is for all the fans of online content creation: meet the creators themselves and learn how to launch your career in streaming. StreetCon is the perfect collaboration of Urban Culture X Pop Culture where you can celebrate graffiti and urban art, grab merch and streetwear, and meet the artists.
