Justin Bieber’s South African tour which was scheduled for September and October has been cancelled.
The singer revealed months ago that he was suffering from facial paralysis, after a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
Bieber has since been on his Justice world tour, and says recent shows have “taken a real toll” and he needs more time to “rest and get better”.
Big Concerts sent out a statement this morning to confirm that Bieber’s Joburg and Cape Town shows have been cancelled.
The event organizer confirms that all fans that purchased tickets will receive a full refund.

Big Concerts and AEG Presents regret to confirm that Justin Bieber’s Justice World Tour South African dates have been cancelled.
All fans that purchased tickets from Ticketmaster will receive a full refund and will be contacted by Ticketmaster directly. Fans do not need to take any action. Please keep an eye on your inbox for further information.
We wish Justin a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in South Africa in the future.
