Netflix‘s stalker hit series ‘You’ is officially returning for season 4, and is slated to premiere in February 2023.
The upcoming season 4 will be split into two parts, the first will premiere on 10 February 2023, followed by the second part on 10th March 2023.
The series is based on the novel series You by Caroline Kepnes, which currently consists of three books, with the fourth one coming out next year.
Season 4 will follow Joe as he relocates to a new city (London), under a secret identity—Professor Jonathan Moore.
Per the trailer:
“This time around, I’m focusing on academia and instruction, while keeping my typical extracurricular activities strictly professional,” Joe says in the trailer.
“I made time to exchange ideas with like-minded colleagues. Unfortunately, with friends in high places, then usually come others attempting to climb that social ladder. So, they end up falling – or shall I say pushed – to their social death. The question, by who?”
The streaming giant has shared first-look imagery of the upcoming season 4, under the moniker “A bloody good time”.
Season 1: follows Joe Goldberg (Badgley), a New York bookstore manager who becomes infatuated with an aspiring writer named Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) and he starts to manipulate situations so that both constantly can cross paths. But as his delusional obsession with her grows, his actions get much, much darker.
While Season 2 sees Joe move to LA in the hopes of being a better person by putting his stalkerish tendencies behind. He meets Love Quinn who has also killed one-too-many people in the name of passion.
Season 3: follows Joe and Love— married and raising their newborn son, Henry, in the fictitious Californian suburb of Madre Linda. As their relationship dynamic takes a new turn, Joe continues to repeat the cycle of obsession with a burgeoning interest in Natalie Engler, the next door neighbour.
