Capitec Bank is now offering prepaid data and airtime plans through its new mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), Capitec Connect.

The network service is running on the Cell C network.

The prepaid prices include; R4.50 per 100MB, R45 per GB, 90c per minute and 25c per SMS.

The airtime, minutes, data and SMSs don’t expire as long as the number is in use and the SIM card is active

Sim cards are available to clients at all Capitec branches and clients can get up to five Sim cards linked to their profile, which makes it easy to give access to data and airtime to family members.

You’re also able to port your existing number from another network, or get a new Connect number. This can be done in branch when collecting your Connect SIM, or at any time by dialling Client Care on 135. Remember to convert existing contracts to prepaid first before you port.
