Kid Cudi‘s new animated series “Entergalactic” takes the spotlight as our show of the week.
Cudi teamed up with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, who serves as executive producer of the series.
The animation style of this series is almost similar to that of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse.
The series is set in New York City and portrays art, music, and fashion through immersive animation. The story follows the love life of two New York residents—Jabari (voiced by Cudi), a charismatic street artist, and Meadow (Jessica Williams), a photographer. Jabari is still trying to get over his ex, but Meadow shows him that it’s possible to fall back in love and balance success.
Joining Cudi and Williams is a star-studded cast, including Timothée Chalamet, Vanessa Hudgens, Laura Harrier, Ty Dolla $ign, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro and Macaulay Culkin.
