AFROPUNK has confirmed it will not be hosting a festival in Joburg this year. This comes after social media speculation that the festival will be coming to our shores this December.

In a statement, the festival confirms there will be no Afropunk Joburg but will return soon.

Part of the statement reads; “South Africa Family, We love you and cannot wait to return one day soon. Please note that Afropunk & Constitution Hill SA are not hosting a festival in Joburg this December 30-31 2022.

The festival is known for presenting cutting-edge music, art, fashion and culture in an immersive and engaging experience like nowhere else.
