Time Out Market, a globally recognized food and cultural market, is set to open at Cape Town‘s famed V&A Waterfront in late 2023.
This will mark Time Out Market’s first location in Africa. The first ever Time Out Market opened in 2014 in Lisbon (Portugal) and was followed by new locations in 2019 in Miami, New York, Boston, Montreal, and Chicago, and in 2021 in Dubai.
Now bringing it home, the market will be located at the current V&A Food Market space and will span 27,000 sq ft with 14 kitchens, four bars, and one stage. With approximately 750 seats, guests will be able to sit indoors or quayside with the view of Table Mountain as a backdrop.
Opening in partnership with the V&A Waterfront Holdings, the Time Out Market Cape Town will showcase a curated mix of the city’s best culinary and cultural experiences.
