Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson takes lead in the new superhero movie “Black Adam” releasing this week.
The movie introduces Johnson as Teth-Adam and marks the character’s live-action debut after only appearing in animated shows and films such as Young Justice.
“Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods — and imprisoned just as quickly — Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world,” says the synopsis.
Other cast members include Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman.
