This legal drama from Kerry Washington, follows Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart (portrayed by Emayatzy Corinealdi) as a defense attorney, a mother who’s raising two teenagers, and a wife who is trying hard to work out a stained marriage. Buried deep in her work, Jax finds herself in the middle of a high-profile and demanding murder case.
The series brings everything from steamy sex scenes, drama, and a messy murder investigation.
Other cast includes Michael Ealy, McKinley Freeman, Sean Patrick Thomas and Victor Rasuk.
