The River on 1Magic will be letting go of its key cast members. The telenovela has confirmed the departure of Hlomla Dandala, Lawrence Maleka, and Tango Ncetezo.
The performers have entertained viewers with storylines that brought out their characters’ dark sides to softer and lighter moments. Hlomla portrays police commissioner Zweli Dikana, who’s married to ruthless mine tycoon Lindiwe (Sindi Dlathu). Lawrence plays Lindiwe’s nephew and protégé Zolani Dlamini, while Tango stars as shebeen owner and councillor Paulina Dlomo.
