Nike continues to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1 with ‘Burgundy Crush’ and ‘Luxe’ iterations.
Velvet colourway
Plush velvet makes an impression at the upper, while the butter leather spotlights the overlays and mudguards. A faux reptilian-patterned leather is seen at the heels, while additional monochromatic tones are seen at the tongue, laces, and sole. Tonal branding paired with the rubber outsole and Max Air unit finish the design.
Luxe colourway
The new ‘Luxe’ colour scheme, brings a tonal look to the original Air Max model. Dressed from toe to heel in a medium brown, this pair features a wealth of materials, constructing the base layers from suede before adding high-quality leathers including some animal leathers for the toe box and Swooshes. Debossed leather tongue patches match the heel branding, while metallic silver eyelets complete the look.
