It’s the final chapter of SA’s music reality show “Idols SA,” which is coming to an end this year.
The long-running show has been canceled by M-Net and will end with the upcoming 19th season.
Host and producer ProVerb helmed the show with judges including Somizi, Unathi Nkayi, and Randall Abrahams. Season 18 was left out without Abrahams and Nkayi, who were replaced with Thembi Seete and JR Bogopa.
Even after introducing new judges to their panel to revive the show, it was still not enough to keep the ratings at peak.
The show has been on our screens for 21 years after making its debut back in 2002 and has given the spotlight to winners including Khaya Mthethwa, Karabo Mogane, Musa Sukwene, and Vincent Bones.
