Why So Sad? is a cycling and skate-focused campaign founded by John Rattray with the goal of driving awareness, education, and fundraising around mental well-being & suicide prevention in the skate community.

In support of the movement, Nike SB linked up with Rattray for a special Nike SB Dunk Low. Design-wise, the shoe features a wear-away Swoosh that fades away over time from Coastal Blue to Speed Yellow, nodding to the process that Rattray says “we go through when dealing with emotional challenges, and the work required to get back to a solid baseline of happiness“.

Additional details include suede and premium nubuck leather upper, Zoom Air unit in the heel, while embroidered graphics hit the lateral heel.

RELEASE DETAILS:

The Why So Sad? x Nike SB Dunk Low will release on Wednesday, 15 February 2023 via the Baseline Skate Shop online raffle at 7pm – baselineskateshop.com.

Please note the raffle is for residents living outside Cape Town Only. Entries within Cape Town will be ignored. 1 entry per person, 1 pair per winner.
