“Cocaine Bear” is the hottest movie to check out this week. The movie is actually based on true events, and yes, it’s about a bear that consumed cocaine.

In 1985, a 175-pound black bear consumed the contents of a duffle bag filled with more than 70 pounds of cocaine after it was dropped from an airplane by a Kentucky drug runner.

The movie stars Keri Russell, Christian Convery, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Brooklynn Prince, Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and, Isiah Whitlock Jr. to name a few.

In this movie, the black bear finds the missing cocaine and eats it. A group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens converging in a Georgia forest have to make it out alive since the predator is on the loose and has gone on a coke-fueled rampage to kill.

The movie’s plot differs from the true story, because the real-life Cocaine Bear is not known to have killed anyone after consuming drugs, and it later died from an overdose.

The movie will release at local cinemas this week, on February 24.

Here’s a trailer to get you started:
