Netflix debuted a new movie, “Luther: The Fallen Sun,” which continues and reimagines the original BBC series.
The movie stars Idris Elba as detective John Luther, and following his arrest in the season finale, he plans a prison breakout to find David Robey (Andy Serkis), a cyber-killer terrorizing the streets of London.
The killer goes on a rampage of gruesome murders by manipulating people and threatening to expose their dark secrets.
Robey is also a problem for Detective Chief Inspector Odette Raine (Cynthia Erivo), who has no interest in getting Luther’s help, but it seems their paths have to cross for them to bring down this killer and his empire.
This is an enjoyable watch from beginning to end, with lots of action and thrilling moments to keep you on the edge of your couch.
