Showmax’s new series “Adulting” takes the spotlight as our show of the week.
The drama series is about four varsity friends who go through the hoops of life. Their journeys in life have taken them in very different directions as they try to find love and success in Johannesburg after varsity.
Thembinkosi Mthembu stars as successful businessman Bonga, with Luthando BU Mthembu as toy-boy Vuyani, Thabiso Rammusi as cheating family man Mpho, and Nhanhla Kunene as hot-headed bad-boy Eric.
It also stars Winnie Ntshaba and Sikelelwa Vuyeleni as Vuyani’s sugar mamma and Eric’s baby mamma respectively; Lungile Duma as Mpho’s wife; and Buhle Samuels and newcomer Londeka Shishi as Bonga’s love interests.
Adulting is an eight-part 18SN drama and is the first Showmax Original from Tshedza Pictures, the production company behind The Republic.
Adulting is now streaming on Showmax, with new episodes every Monday.
