Fresh outta Lagos is Prime Video’s first African Original “Gangs of Lagos,” a crime thriller movie from director Jade Osiberu.
The movie which debuted this past weekend is the streamer’s three-year overall deal with Osiberu, who is behind movies like “Sugar Rush” and “Isoken”.
Gangs of Lagos paints the story of brotherhood and betrayal. It stars Tobi Bakare, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and Chike as three childhood friends struggling to escape Isale Eko, Lagos. They’re childhood friends who each have to navigate destiny, growing up on the bustling streets and neighborhood of Lagos. It features elaborate set pieces, action scenes, and engaging dialogue, balanced by a high-octane pace and emotionally grounded story at its core.
Through the hustle and bustle they find themselves in the middle of crime, betrayal, and having to make huge sacrifices.
The movie is now streaming on Prime Video.
