“Gomora” is another local series coming to an end.
The show made its debut back in March 2020 and will wrap its final season in October this year.
The Mzansi Magic telenovela revolves around the lives of two families from different backgrounds who become intertwined after a tragedy.
The show explores themes of social inequality, crime, family, and redemption in Alexandra Township.
The solid cast on the show includes Katlego Danke, Connie Chiume, Zolisa Xaluva, Thembi Seete, Sicelo Buthelezi, Ntobeko Sishi and Siphesihle Ndaba to name a few.
Gomora has received several awards and nominations, including the Best Telenovela award at the 15th South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).
The last episode will air on October 20.
