Stephen Curry: Underrated, the new documentary from Apple Original Films, A24, and Curry’s own production company Unanimous Media, will take you through Curry’s entire career, from his days as an undersized college player to his status as a four-time NBA champion and one of the world’s most dominant sports dynasties.
With never-before-seen footage, Underrated will feature abundant clips of Curry’s career and interviews with family, coaches, and college teammates, from leading the small Division 1 school, Davidson College, on an unforgettable run in the NCAA tournament in 2009 to his thirteen-year run in the NBA.
Curry’s Underrated, adds to a string of documentaries and TV shows featuring some of basketball’s biggest names. From Michael Jordan’s The Last Dance to LeBron James’ Space Jam, and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty.
Directed and produced by Emmy Award-winner Peter Nicks, Underrated is set to be released in select theaters and on Apple TV+ on Friday, 21 July 2023.
