H&M South Africa is linking up with fashion designer, Rich Mnisi, for a super cool print collaboration.
The H&M x RICH MNISI collection will feature original streetwear designs with iconic RICH MNISI illustrations. The styles are all about comfort and come in relaxed and oversized fits. The collection includes six seasonal colors inspired by autumn, with warm shades of brown, orange, beige, black, and grey. Plus, it’s gender-neutral and available in sizes XS to XL.
The collection is made using more sustainable materials. The cotton pieces, for example, are made of 100% in-conversion cotton, which means they come from farmers who are transitioning to organic farming.
According to Caroline Nelson, the Country Manager of H&M South Africa, this collaboration is all about promoting the local design industry within South Africa. H&M has a history of working with top designers, making high-fashion more accessible to everyone.
Rich Mnisi expressed his gratitude for the support he’s received and his desire to make his designs accessible to more people. This collaboration with H&M is a way for him to show love to all his fans and supporters.
Rich Mnisi is an incredibly talented creative director and fashion designer from Africa. He’s all about pop-culture and draws inspiration from his own cultural roots as a proud member of South Africa’s Tsonga tribe. His contemporary work has caught the attention of big names like Beyoncรฉ, Ciara, and Naomi Campbell, and he even has a furniture design collection exhibited internationally.
