Just in time when Elon Musk is seeing flames with the Twitter platform, Mark Zuckerberg will strike with a new social platform launch.
Zuckerberg’s Meta will launch Instagram Threads, a Twitter competitor, this week. According to their listing on the App Store, Threads will launch on July 6. The Google Play Store also shows a similar listing, which first appeared over the weekend.
Threads will be like the Twitter version of Instagram, where users will be able to discuss different topics and still be able to engage on trending topics, reshare, like, and comment. Further, users will be able to follow each other and connect directly with their favourite creators.
Instagram Threads is designed specifically for users to engage in private discussions with their closest followers on the Instagram platform. This app seamlessly integrates with Instagram’s primary platform and provides various functionalities like status updates, automatic status sharing, a camera-focused interface, and improved privacy settings. The primary goal of Threads is to enrich communication and cultivate intimate connections within a user’s inner circle, fostering a sense of closeness within the Instagram community.
So make sure to check out the app when it launches on Google Play Store and App store.
