Kappa and Kaizer Chiefs have finally unveiled the new kit for the 2023–24 season, revealing both the home and away jerseys that the team will wear in the upcoming matches.
The home jersey comes in a striking golden-yellow colourway, radiating the team’s spirit and energy on the field, while the away jersey arrives in a cool shade of green, representing a fresh and bold look.

Designed to evoke a sense of the Club’s rich heritage and tradition, the home jersey is predominantly gold – symbolising Amakhosi’s commitment to success and excellence – with bold black inflections accentuating the sleek design, which will be complemented by either black or gold shorts on the field. The home kit pays tribute to Kaizer Chiefs’ prestigious legacy, instilling both players and supporters, who are always behind the team, with a sense of pride.
In addition to the chic home kit, Kaizer Chiefs and Kappa have also introduced a beguiling green and gold away kit for the upcoming season. Inspired by the natural beauty of South Africa, the green represents the lush landscapes of the nation. It also symbolises the growth and the nurturing of a new relationship, while the gold trim symbolises victory and the accomplishment of the Club over the past 53 years.
Kappa’s kit sponsorship deal with the Chiefs is set to continue for a span of five years.
The relationship between Chiefs and Kappa dates back to 1989 when Chiefs first wore the chic Italian brand. The partnership lasted until 1996.
The Kappa and Kaizer Chiefs new kit is available at selected sportswear retailers, including Kappa stores, as well as from Kaizer Chiefs Retail at the Village in Naturena, and online at www.kcdigistore.com from Wednesday, 26 July 2023.
A full range of official Amakhosi-branded merchandise, produced by new technical partner, Kappa, will be available for purchase at Club headquarters between 10:00 and 16:00.
