It’s not every day in Joburg that you’d witness the city come alive like this past weekend—well, thanks to BROKE for an unforgettable moment that will forever be etched in our memories.
The Cape Town-based streetwear label-cum-collective BROKE finally held its long-awaited Joburg Boot Sale at 99 Juta in Braamfontein, this past weekend.
Shout out to all the cool kids and culture aficionados that came through for this epic, never-to-forget culture moment. BROKE revolutionized the very essence of a street label, igniting an insatiable appetite for what’s to come with their highly-anticipated Klubhouse opening.
Dubbed the “Boot Sale,” this perfectly showcases how the label rocks up and sells its merchandise right from the car boot. As expected, the event was a tremendous success, drawing fans and customers from across the city, all eager to secure their chance to snag some of the highly sought-after BROKE merch.
The boot sale is part of the BROKE’s tour, which made a stop in Vaal, and is heading next to Durban, Port Elizabeth, and finally, culminating with the grand opening of the BROKE Klubhouse Flagship Store in Cape Town.
