Unveiled as the ultimate road-ready variant of the iconic pony car, Ford has unleashed the limited-edition Mustang GTD which will be quite pricey. Emerging from the Mustang GT3 concept, this model redefines high-performance. Crafted by Ford and the Dearborn-based automaker, the Mustang GTD stands as a superlative, limited-edition supercar.
Ford’s dedication to excellence is showcased through the distinctive supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine, equipped with dry sump oil system and dual air inlets. Boasting a redline surpassing 7,500 rpm, it’s projected to produce around 800 hp (596 kW). While straight-line acceleration is remarkable, the Mustang GTD excels in cornering and stopping power.
To enhance the latter attributes, an advanced semi-active suspension and motorsport-inspired tubular subframe are implemented. 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with 345 mm rear rubber and 325 mm front tires paired with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes ensure optimal performance. The package is completed with innovative aerodynamics, encapsulating the extreme essence of this model.
This model has a price tag of around $300 000.
