Brutal Fruit recently opened its first women-only venue in Soweto in celebration of Women’s Month. However, this cool concept is just a pop-up and will run until the end of August.
The pop-up establishment is located inside the RockerFella tavern in Soweto, Johannesburg.
Candice van den Bosch, the acting head of brand at Brutal Fruit Spritzer, shared the scoop about this amazing pop-up.
“We are mindful of the importance of creating spaces where women can feel free to celebrate and have fun in an uninhibited way, and as such we have established a women-only pop-up venue in Soweto, aptly named SheBeen. A play on the word shebeen, this venue is in response to the call of many South African women who often fear going out at night to have some fun. SheBeen is an elegant, women-only, and female-centric venue that will be inclusive and accessible to all women in Gauteng during the month of August, in celebration of National Women’s month.”
Step inside, and you’ll be greeted by the sleek and chic vibe of SheBeen. It’s decked out in Brutal Fruit’s signature plush pink style, with clean lighting, nicely curated sitting areas, a DJ booth, restrooms, and, of course, a bar to keep those drinks flowing.
The Brutal SheBeen launched on Wednesday, 9 August 2023 at the revamped RockerFella in Molapo, Soweto.
