Soccer gaming enthusiasts can now grab a copy of the FC 24 by EA Sports. The game is available on various platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Retailers including BTgames and Game4u have listed the game priced between R1,389.00 – R1,499.00.
Officially known as FC24, this game promises to redefine the virtual soccer experience with its cutting-edge technology and thrilling new features.
The rebranding of EA Sports FC marks a significant milestone for the gaming giant, as it officially parted ways with FIFA after a longstanding partnership dating back to 1993.
The game’s foundation lies in three key innovations: HyperMotion V, enhanced PlayStyles, and an overhauled Frostbite engine. HyperMotion V utilizes data from over 180 professional matches to create lifelike animations, while ball physics and adaptive AI deliver realistic movements. Enhanced PlayStyles give players unique movements and skills based on real-match data, and iconic players have special PlayStyles+ moves.
The revamped Frostbite engine ensures incredible visual fidelity, presenting anatomically correct bodies, detailed clothing, and enhanced lighting for a lifelike stadium atmosphere. The Elevated Matchday Experience immerses players in dynamic pre-match intros akin to televised games.
A groundbreaking feature is the inclusion of both male and female players in Ultimate Team mode, enabling the creation of mixed-gender fantasy teams with over 1600 female players to choose from.
Players can create personalized versions of their favorite stars through Evolutions, meeting specific criteria and completing challenges to improve ratings, skills, and appearances.
Career Mode and Clubs come with exciting enhancements, offering players support from player agents and the option to observe matches from the touchline as managers.
Lastly, Clubs and Volta Football modes are now cross-play-compatible for the first time, allowing players on different platforms within the same generation to challenge each other.
