adidas, in alignment with the “We Gave the World an Original. You Gave Us a Thousand Back” campaign, presented an ORIGINALS STUDIOS event—a creative environment brimming with workshops designed to inspire and empower creatives.

Guests enjoyed a mix of activities, including a panel discussion, hands-on workshops,  food, and music.

As we step into the LEMKUS exchange building, the ambiance is thoughtfully curated by adi, highlighting three of the brand’s iconic trainer styles: Samba, Gazelle, and Superstar. The venue is mainly decked out with expansive posters on the walls, showcasing the ORIGINALS campaign, featuring local personalities like Russell ‘Yay Abe’ Abrahams, Andile Dlamini, Tinuke Eboka, FOCALISTIC, Franadilla, and others.

On the other side, there’s a spacious area set up with chairs, all prepared for the guests, and an adorned front stage, all set for the hosts.

The day began with a panel discussion led by media personality Pamela Mtanga, who introduced actress Amaqata, adi brand manager Nox Mafu, and BROKE label co-founder Andile Dlamini.

The panelists engage the audience as they share invaluable insights from their respective industries, recount their personal journeys, and provide a taste of how they stay ORIGINAL.

Now that the panel discussion is wrapped, guests are now attending different workshops that range from film & photography to sneaker design and garment design, hosted by Matthew Edwards, Lukhanyo Mdingi, Dennis Collins, Gabrielle Kannemeyer, and Yoza Mnyanda.
